Running the Application
Instructions for running the Application
Follow the steps below to get the application running:
Power on the Oculus by pressing the power button and check that the headset has a sufficient level of charge (>25%).
Once powered on the Oculus, follow the instructions displayed in the headset to create a Stationary Guardian Boundary with the correct floor level.
Connect the Oculus to the Laptop using the Link Cable (USB C to USB 3).
Make sure OpenXR runtime is set for Quest/Oculus
Oculus headset will prompt, “Enable Oculus Link”. Click on “Enable”. Wait for the Rift mode to load. After the loading is complete, you will be teleported into an empty white room with a panel display.
Launch the AMAS from the application library.
The AMAS VR application will load in the tutorial mode by default.
Go through the following steps to have your application running:
Power on the Vive and set up the peripherals.
Once powered on and the status on SteamVR shows as active, follow the instructions displayed in the headset to create a Stationary Guardian Boundary with the correct floor level.
Choose the OpenXR runtime for steam following https://www.vive.com/uk/support/vs/category_howto/trouble-with-openxr-titles.html
After the loading is complete, you will be teleported into an empty white room with a panel display.
Launch the AMAS from the application library.
The AMAS VR application will load with the tutorial mode by default.
