# Creating a Recording

### 1) Getting to the Active Recording Panel

Pressing the recording button on the bottom of the control panel will activate the Active Recordings Panel.

### 2) Press the New Recording button

Press the new recording button at the bottom left of the active recordings panel.\
Pressing the button will open the Select Robots to Record panel.

### 3) Select the Robots You Want to Record

From the Select Robots to Record panel, toggle on the Robot(s) you want to record and press `Select` button, this will forward you to the Recording Panel.

You are now ready to record your selected Robots.

## Recording

Recording Panel have two different methods to record a movement.

### 1)Start Recording.

Clicking the `Start Recording` button will start recording, and the Recording indicator will turn to red, and the robot's movements will be recorded until the `Stop Recording`  button is clicked.

### 2)Snapshots

Move the robot to a different location and click the `Take a Snapshot` button. This will record the robot's new position as a new target and include it in the current recording.

Both Start recording and Snapshots can be used in the same recording.

**Note:** Using the same name as an existing recording will overwrite it.

When satisfied with the recording, click the `Save Recording` button to finalise and create a recording file.
