Guide to purchase a license and update the license subscription
With the introduction of Singular Cortex devices, we’ve launched the Extend Robotics Command Console, a secure web interface that connects to your Cortex device, as well as allows to visualise your collected teleoperation datasets and train embodied AI models.
For hardware delivered with version 9.3 or earlier, you must contact support@extendrobotics.com so we can set up your Command Console account, allowing for seamless configuration updates.
The console now includes a self-service license purchasing system, enabling you to purchase a license for the AMAS software and our firmware securely via Stripe. The license works within a subscription service, directly debiting your card when the license expires. All license management is now available directly on the Command Console. This page consists of three sections which can aid you in managing your credits:
Purchasing an AMAS License
1. Log in to the Command Console here, and you should be redirected to the Dashboard.
2. Click on your account name at the bottom of the Sidebar panel.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Click on the License tab.
5. You will now view the License page. First, choose the billing cycle you would like for your license. You can choose between Yearly and Monthly depending on your needs.
6. Below the Billing Cycle selection, you will find the Pre-Purchase Checklist. Please take note of each of the prerequisites, as all are required for the system to function correctly. There are links accompanying each prerequisite to assist with your setup and purchasing decisions.
7. Click on the toggles to either increase or decrease the number of Cortexes you wish to purchase with your license. You will see your final price adjusted based on the number of Cortexes selected.
8. Tick the two checkboxes to confirm that you have reviewed and received all items listed in the Pre-Purchase Checklist, as well as to confirm that you have read and accept the Terms & Conditions and consent to data use as described in the Privacy Policy. Whenever you are ready, press the Subscribe button.
9. You will then be redirected to the Checkout Page hosted by Stripe. On the left-hand side, you will see a summary of the AMAS Research Platform license you are about to purchase. You will also find the quantity of licenses selected, the billing cycle selected as well as the subtotal with VAT. On the right-hand side, you will be able to select from the payment methods you have already used with Stripe, or you can create a new one. Whenever you are ready, click on Pay and subscribe.
Please note that the Command Console email (aka the email pre-filled out on the Checkout Page) will be the email that will receive the receipt of any of Command Console payments.
10. You will then be redirected back to the License page within the Command Console settings. You should see your new license reflected on the license page with all its details, including the number of Cortexes, start date, new renewal and license status. If the page has not been updated yet, please refresh your page or try again later.
Updating your AMAS License
Changing License Payment Method
1. To change your license payment method, click on the Change Payment Method button on the active license page.
2. You can manage all your payment methods here. You can delete unused payment methods, add new ones or change the current payment method by selecting another and then clicking on the Confirm Selection button.
3. Your payment method change will immediately be reflected on the active license page.
Changing your Cortex Quantity or License Billing Cycle
1. To change the quantity of Cortexes associated with your License or the Billing Cycle of your License, click on the Update License button on the active license page.
2. You will then be redirected to the Subscription Management Page hosted by Stripe. Here you will be able to change the License Billing Cycle or update the License (aka Cortex) quantity for your license. After you have made your changes, click on the Continue button.
3. The Stripe page will then ask you to confirm your requested changes. Based on your selected changes, you may be charged to accommodate the license changes, or you may have to wait until your current license ends for the updates to take place. Once you click on Subscribe and pay, the Command Console will be updated accordingly. In case you wish to no longer make those changes, you can always return the Command Console using the Return button found on the left-hand side.
Cancelling your AMAS License
1. To cancel your AMAS license, click on the Cancel License button on the active license page.
2. You will then be asked to confirm that you want to cancel your AMAS license. If you are sure you would like to continue, click on Cancel License.
3. You will then be redirected to the Subscription Management Page hosted by Stripe. Review the details of your license cancellation and press the Cancel subscription button when you are ready.
4. You will then be asked for the reason for your license cancellation. We kindly request that you fill out this form so we know how to improve our platform.
5. You will then be redirected back to the License page within the Command Console settings. You will now see your updated license status and when your license expires. You will have access to the AMAS software until that date, whereas after that date, your access will be revoked, and you will have to purchase a new license to use the software again. If you wish to reactivate your license before that date, you can always return to this page and press the Reactivate License button.
