To activate Hand Tracking for the Meta Quest headset, refer to the guide in the Hand Tracking page.
To use the Dexterous Hand by Inspire Robots with the UFACTORY xArm,
Mount the Inspire Hand to the end effector link of the xArm.
Connect the Inspire Hand to the xArm, tool connector socket using the cable provided.
Configure the xArm to use the Inspire Hand as End Effector (Gripper).
When using Dexterous Hand by Inspire Robots with xArm6/xArm7, the End Effector Settings of the xArm needs to be adjusted as mentioned in the section Configuration for xArm to use the Custom End Effector
Please follow the Cortex Firmware Configuration steps to set up the Inspire Hand for use with AMAS.
On the xArm connected with the inspire hand, set the end effector as:
rInspireLeft For the left Inspire Hand.
rInspireRight For the right Inspire Hand.
Note: To utilize each fingers degree of motion freely in the dexterous hand in AMAS VR app, speech recognition must be enabled along with hand tracking.
Hand Tracking allows the mapping of the target from user hands to the dexterous hand for increased usability.
