Running the Application

Instructions for running the Application

Go through the following steps to have your application running:

  1. Power on the Oculus by pressing the power button.

  2. Once powered on the Oculus, follow the instructions displayed in the headset to create a Stationary Guardian Boundary with the correct floor level.

  3. Connect the Oculus to the Laptop using the Link Cable (USB C to USB 3).

  4. Oculus headset will prompt, “Enable Oculus Link”. Click on “Enable”. Wait for the Rift mode to load. After the loading is complete, you will be teleported into a white empty room with a panel display.

  5. Launch the AMAS from the library connected to Oculus VR headset.

  6. The AMAS VR application loads with the simulation / tutorial mode by default.

Go through the following steps to have your application running:

  1. Power on the Vive and Setup the peripherals.

  2. Once powered on the and the staus on SteamVR shows active, follow the instructions displayed in the headset to create a Stationary Guardian Boundary with the correct floor level.

  3. After the loading is complete, you will be teleported into a white empty room with a panel display.

  4. Launch the AMAS from the Library in the laptop connected to Oculus VR headset.

  5. The AMAS VR application loads with the simulation / tutorial mode by default.
