In a remote demonstration scenario, we allow customers to operate the robot in our Reading Office from their respective location highlighting the power of teleoperation with low latency for the customers. Although for such a task there are certain requirements and setup that needs to be done from the customer side for the ideal experience of the demonstration.

Requirements to use AMAS

If you'd like to use a Meta Quest Headset to teleoperate the robot in our office, by connecting your Meta Quest headset to a PC please start by reviewing the compatibility requirements.

Step 1: Headset Requirements

Step 2: Cable Requirements

Link requires a high-quality USB cable capable of supporting data and power. You'll also want to make sure that the USB cable is at least 3 metres (10 feet) long for an optimal and comfortable experience.

Step 3: Network Requirements

Please see the table given below for the network requirements:

Final Step: Software Requirements

Setup Oculus Application

After setting up the Oculus Application on your PC and installing the AMAS there are few more steps that needs to be done on your headset to start using the AMAS application.

You can find the further instructions here:

Running the Application

To use Quest Link, you need to download the desktop app listed under , onto a PC (Windows) computer. The download and setup of AMAS for the use is given here:

Once you've downloaded and setup the PC app, make sure that the app is up to date and your Meta Quest headset is running the latest operating system. More information on setup can be found in
