AudioKit Addition and Configuration

Guide to add new AudioKit and configure it

Currently only a single AudioKit connection at a time is supported

SenseKit with audio hardware may be used as AudioKit. In such scenario don't forget to enable audio in SenseKit firmware settings.

Follow SenseKit Addition and Configuration, set Enable Audio and reboot the SenseKit.

Note that audio support is not yet supported on Jetson devices.

Adding a New AudioKit

  1. Open the Configuration tab in the wrist panel.

  2. Press the Audio button, which will open the Active Audio panel.

  3. Press the New button, which will open the panel with input fields.

  4. Input configuration

Element
Meaning

Name

Your descriptive name for AudioKit

IP

IP address of the AudioKit

ROS Port

The ROS port (default 9091, if using SenseKit with audio hardware as audio kit use SenseKit ROS port)

Port

The data port (default 5555)

  1. Press Save which will try to connect to the AudioKit device

Modifying a currently Active AudioKit

  1. Open the Configuration tab in the wrist panel.

  2. Press on the Audio button.

  3. Press on the Configure button

  4. Edit the configuration of the AudioKit accordingly.

  5. Press Save. This will update the AudioKit, and will update the stored configuration
