Speech Recognition is a feature that uses your microphone to detect certain keywords and triggers functions when they are detected.

How to Activate

The speech recognition feature can be activated using the dropdown menu item in the settings panel.

How to use

Activating the feature starts tracking your microphone and displays a cheat sheet that shows the currently available keywords. When the feature is enabled, only a single keyword is active. Using the Start keyword, users can turn on the rest of the keywords, which can be seen through the cheat sheet functions when they are detected.

Spoken Text

The left side of the cheat sheet shows the recognised text when spoken by the user.

Commands available with Speech Recognition

  • Voice recognition start / Speech recognition start: Activates Speech Recognition Commands.

  • Voice recognition stop / Speech recognition stop: Deactivates Voice Recognition Commands.

  • Locomotion mode / View Adjustment mode: Switches to View Adjustment Mode.

  • Robot control mode: Switches to Robot Control Mode.

  • Engage manual control / Manual control start: Starts control of the Robotic hand gripper.

  • Disable manual control / Manual control stop: Stops control of the Robotic hand gripper.
