Calibration Prerequisite

Guide for the necessary step of calibration for the SenseKit.

After the SenseKit is added and loaded, there is another process that needs to be done before it can be used to perform the tasks in collaboration with the RoboKit and the AMAS application. The 3D camera stream needs to be aligned with the digital twin in the application for best results while using the application.

Some pre-requisite steps before we proceed to explore the different kinds of calibration:

  1. Before you proceed any further please download the downloadable PDF file given here: Calibration Board

  2. Print the PDF file on an A4 sheet.

Please make sure that while printing calibration board original size is kept (not fit to page size, no scaling) otherwise calibration results may be wrong

  1. Paste the board on rigid surface (acrylic board, cardboard) for robot to grab.


After the completion of the above steps, there are 3 kinds of calibration processes that are used case-to-case. Let us explore them below:
