Description

Hand tracking support

Support for hand tracking gestures used to operate the robot components and mobile base.

Speech recognition

Allows the operator to interact with AMAS controlled robotic components using voice commands

Intuitive Safety Management

Visual indicators to guide the operator away from robot joint limits. Auto-stop when the VR headset cameras lose track of hands in hand tracking mode. The robot remains stable when re-taking control of a robot with hand tracking.

Headset Home Pose

When AMAS is used in conjunction with a PC display, the view from a custom camera location may be set for when the headset is not in use.

New robots added to Exhibition room

The Dobot CR5 is now part of our supported devices portfolio.

Audio support

Certain cameras are equipped with microphones. The feature enabled audio feedback from the camera to the operator. Audio quality is camera-specific.

Additional Firmware settings for ZED cameras

Firmware settings improve the camera visualisation whilst in motion or when mounted on the robot arm.

General Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • User Interface Improvements:

    • Floating keyboard usability improvements.

    • Dialogue layout updates to enable hand tracking compatibility.

    • Force Torque Calibration dialogue.

    • Mode selection.

    • Pre-filled content in the floating keyboard.

    • Configuration Panel now closes when swapping to interaction mode.

    • Added an X button to close floating windows.

    • Grip mode usability improvements.

  • Bandwidth optimization & performance improvements.

  • Documentation updates for better clarity and accuracy.

  • Additional firmware settings for Stereolabs ZEDX/Mini 3D cameras.

  • Motion Playback - Added UI button to delete existing recordings.

  • RoboKit firmware update to improve Dobot CR5 connectivity on launch and OTA update capability.
